Default Pack Rafts

Got to go with Roman and his bandits and was impressed. First time in PR and down the lower Kings canyon we went. The boats are extremely stable and highly maneuverable and handle drops great. Everyone had clean runs and they ran the (V-) drop, no problem, I walked since it was my first time in a PR.
There was a discussion awhile back about the capability of these boats, all I can say is try one, they are fun, and safe.
These guys are starting to run some pretty sizable falls now, and I imagine they will be running upper Willow, Magic Mile, and other high end class V runs soon enough.
Tim Johnson and Roman ran the tea cups on Tin Can creek, check out his site for a great U Tube of it.
cheers MO

Thanks for the update. I've been glad Roman's getting more into filming his adventures. Sure helps pass the time between my own trips with looking at others adventures in packrafts. Granted I'm really only good up to Class III right now, but I'd like to go with more experienced folks to gain some more confidence in a semi-controlled environment. So are you going to be buying a packraft??

You have a link to his videos? Or better yet, post it on this board under the Rafting Porn thread.

Default eskimo roll

Tim Johnson rolled his pack raft last Sunday. This will bring forth a new approach to Pack rafting, I can't wait to try. My kayak roll is good so we will see.
